Will they get me to pay them?

I had made an ebay account in my real name but with a po box address that I use for mail and one of my cell phone numbers. The situation is, ebay suspended that account to being link with another account! The account being linked too is not one of my accounts or suspended accounts.......long story short... Will they find my home address and start sending bills there? I want my account back because it was a legit selling account that I only listed cards on. eGay will not reinstate my account. I wont pay em because some items didnt get paid and they billed me for that! I was pissed!

Do you have a problem with me or something? I place Fooking there not to disrespect my country but to say I live in fu cking america! I could have put USA, America, etc but I wanted to put Fooking in front of America because that is what I wanted, just like you put "Unites" in front of States. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe it's spelled "UNITED"

Look, I am not here to argue with anyone. I am here to gather information and give some info on what I know. I learned a few things from you and I have not question you on what you do or how you do it, nor say you are doing it wrong.

I ask for help if you wish to not help. Please don't post! I would just look bad if were arguing over my childish antics.

You have absolutely NOTHING to worry about. First, ebay will NOT search for additional addresses. They will send form letters to the address you registered the account under demanding payment. Then eventually those letters will stop coming. I have alot of experience with this before and I have one example. Before I know I could use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ checking account numbers, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ IPs, etc I registered many ebay accounts. Those accounts had ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names but used my real address. I used my dogs name then I just made up names, Tom Cruise, Fred Rogers, etc... Well, I had probably 30 accounts revoked in about 90 days. I owed fees on many. They sent form letters to my home demanding payment from my dog, Mister Rogers, Tom Cruise. It was entertaining but I learned alot. Even if I gave them my REAL name, how are they going to prove that it really was ME that created the account. Remember, when you register an account they NEVER truly verify the information when the account is created. Additionally, they don't even properly verify anything if you scrape the surface. Most everything they do is automated. Most everything I do back to them is not. Once I stopped being so frustrated with them and began to look at is as a puzzle is when I started to have fun again. Good luck collecting that money from my dog ebay. Which brings me to my favorite point I like to make against ebay.I know I digress but I love to say this about ebay. If ebay was TRULY committed to combating fraud, money laundering, copyright infringement, account hijacking and the likes, they would NOT automate the sign up procedure. Have new accounts verify SSN. All new accounts need to verify address, ssn, banck accounts, telephone numbers, etc. They can do that. However doing so would cost money. Less money for them. Their business model requires that it be EASY for people to register as good little consumers. Make it fun to bid! Watch your star change color as you buy and sell more crap! Let me get back to my point:

They will NOT contact you at your home. Count on it.

hey backagain, what if you have a paypal account that has your real name and bank info which mine does. but the ebay account i use it with has my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info. can ebay get my real info from paypal since they are now sharing info?

buster, if that info has already been used on a suspended account, it will not work with the new account: the info is linked. ebay & paypal share information. Is this about fees or using your account?

hey greenbean, thanks for the responce. i have a new ebay account that i use with an old paypal account to accept payments from buyers. i used this paypal account with a previously suspended ebay account. but i follwed aspkins old directions to create a new one giving ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info to ebay. then i just changed the email address for paypal to accept payments from ebay. however the paypal account that i use for my new ebay account is my original paypal account. it has my real info and bank account# so i was wondering if i did not pay the ebay fees will they get my real info from paypal. i do not have my ebay and paypal accounts linked but i do accept my ebay payments though paypal. thats where iam at. thanks again,

you should of just created a new paypal account, it would of saved you much headache. If they cant get the money from the card on file, then most likely that will be their next option

I know it isn't the best policy and everything here has constantly warned against it, but since I have so many of both ebay and pp accounts now, I ended up doing this with one....
where an account got shut down for owing them 7-800, it got too many negs so not worth bothering to pay it up. But I had another new ebay account and did hook it up to that paypal that the shut down (for non payment of fees) account had been receiving money at. I did change up the email address and phone number on the account, surprisingly it started the whole 21 day wait again which was a pain, but a few months in it is still working no problem. I wouldn't have done this if I didn't have enough backup, and it may still catch up with it and shut down the paypal, but for the moment it surprisingly still is working. And this is in the last 2 months (early 2009)

so though they share info it doesn't seem to be absolute and is still a little bit of luck of the draw I guess.

The benefit of using that old paypal rather than a fresh new one was it had gone through limitation a few weeks before all this, so I got that out of the way and it has processed maybe 7k since without limit.... of course limits seem to happen every month or so for me now. some accounts have been limited 4-5 times in a couple months but so far I can always get them back. It is the id that is the tricky part, lucky I am skilled with graphics
