How to get 100/$5000 selling limit faster than 90 days?

So I haven't tried selling yet but I recently read the limit on a new stealth account is typically 10 items/$1000 which seems absurdly low. I've read that in the United States, you usually have to wait 90 days before getting an automatic increase to 100 items/$5000. Is there a faster way to get a more reasonable 100/$5000?

I've done all the verification steps for PayPal minus the SSN, does that help?

buying an account sounds like your best option

ask yourself- how much is your time worth?

can you afford to make tons of accounts right now hoping to land a high limit one?
can you afford to go 90 days without any promises of getting higher limits?

stealth takes a lot of TIME to learn the tricks. if you need to get back to selling to make your income, time isn't a high commodity.

account sellers are here to save people like you valuable time by getting you ahead of the learning curve. You don't only get a high-limit account, but you also get the wisdom of the forums in an efficient nutshell.

I remember getting 100/$10000 accounts when I first started creating additional users to my main SSN-verified user. Shortly thereafter, I was banned, lol.

So the maximum of 10 items seems pretty darn low. $1000 is reasonable, but 10 measly postcards doesn't seem like anything.

After I make an account I'll usually list and sell one item no kore than couple dollars, and ship it out same day if possible! once it's out I'll leave the account for 5-6 weeks or so, I find doing this's and than going back to the account and start selling after 6 weeks rest gives me a raise often or soon after I start listing

This AU seller claims he gets it in 30 days by doing the following. (It seems that ebay.au gives more generous limits than the USA automatically.)

Yes, most definitly - the type of item that you list can make a huge difference. To clarify, it isn't any one particular item or another. Anything will do provided that it isn't seen as risky by eBay. Too many sellers make the mistake of trying to increase their limits whilst selling items deemed 'risky' by eBay.

The trick is to list list items that are LOW VALUE and LOW RISK (as far as eBay is concerned).

It seems 'real people' with publicly verifiable information get the 100/$5000 immediately. I don't think that they're providing an SSN for this? I'm assuming eBay is checking the name/address and the paypal/ebay VCC is name/address verified like an ordinary credit card as they're using real credit cards with EXACT_MATCH instead of PARTIAL_MATCH (unlike the Vanilla Visas which have no name/address on them)? Don't know exactly what's getting them the 100/$5000 limit, but there seem there's possibly a trick.

Waiting 90 days is not a good strategy. I have an account with activities for 1 years, still 10 item. It may be a lemon account, but sometime it just happens.

this is very true. it is a luck of the draw so you cannot guarantee that your account will grow to the limits you want them to.

I'm looking for a "90% effective strategy", not a "100% effective formula"(Though would be nice, not realistic given ebay's renown caprice.)

I remember reading on eBay, though for the life of me I can't find it now, that eBay automatically will raise your selling limit 45 days after your first successful sale. That US Seller above recommends waiting six weeks and he usually gets the limit increase immediately or shortly thereafter, which seems to coincide well this 45 day limit increase policy. (6 weeks = 42 days)

It'd be nice to know the trick behind the 100/$5000 limits that 'real users' get automatically. I don't think it's SSN related? I'm guessing it has something to do with name and address verification on the credit card, something that could be emulated with a PayPal AVS. Be nice to know from someone with experience...

Seriously, search on the forum. I personally have made dozens of suggestions on hoe to get increases in seven days and virtually always within 30 days.

hundreds if not thousands of threads about this already. For anyone who has been here a little while(like a few weeks even) get tired of answering this over answered/asked question.

I already clicked on and read the three 'suggested' threads, but I'm guessing you have a thread your partial to? Mind linking it? Not everybody uses the word "$5000" in the post title to make it easy to search for.

Buy an account, make lots of accounts and randomly get a 1000-$25,000, call for selling limit increases and listing to your limits are your options.

Thats it. Nothing more.

When you search look at the most recent threads on this topic , selling limits have changed a lot in the last 3 years , and most recently eBay has been very generous giving 2-3 automatic raises a month if operated correctly.

Don't get discouraged with initial limits of 5/500 or 10/1000 , they rapidly increase

I can personally attest to that, recently I made my first full stealth account from scratch. It started with 5 and went to 60 within 30 days.

Account sellers on here can get you 100/5000 with a 3 day turnaround. Will they tell you how? No. Sometimes we got to put in some of out own trail and error to get the answers. We know the answers is there if someone can sell it to us.

I too can verify that this is true. I have had a lot of buyers report fast increases on the 5/500s especially.

Also, as GoA says "Why not call in". If you know how to make the accounts, then give it a try. If you make multiples then you could afford to call in on one or a few.
