Default how to make a item show as "LAST ONE" but not the "Last one"

Hmmm Interesting , just purchased a item today , the listing is a GTC listing , with 118 sold , when I clicked it was the "LAST ONE"

But the listing did not expire or end....it continued , it looks like this seller has worked out a way to show his items as "Last One"

Which is a good benefit , as people are more likely to jump in and make a purchase.

Does anyone know how to make a QTY listing show as last one...regardless of how much stock is listed with Ebay ?

The listing has not been relisted and the sold count went up after I purchased and the listing remained on ebay.

Here is a link to the listing

EBAY.co.uk ITEM ID Number TO THE LISTING mentioned :- 272098524339 ( LINK REMOVED)

Anyone offer any help on this and how to do that...

Hi , all my listings are good till canceled and they show the QTY as "more than 10 available"

So there must be a bit more to it than just listing GTC.

Ok in which case he may be using an external software to control inventory. I can't remember the name of the software top my head. But if you search for eBay management software, there should be plenty

But would that really stop a listing from been ended ? surely if eBay see it as been the last one , it is game over for the listing on a listing with 1 left (last one) it should automatically end , I could understand management software working with a qty of say 2 , so when 1 sells , it automatically changes the qty back to 2.....

There is a setting in ebay's "site preferences" called the "out of stock" option. If you enable the out of stock option your listings will not end once the quantity reaches 0. It's an invaluable tool as far as I'm concerned, because you don't loose all of your watchers and page views when an item sells out.

Also, I don't know if it still exists but there used to be an eBay add-on called "scarcity manager" which does exactly what you're describing. It would automatically keep your available quantity low on your listings, even if you're stocked to the gills.

Thank you for your info , only thing I do have my listings set to not end once set to zero.

but would the listing not therefore need to relist and lose its "past qty" of sales using GTC?

Exactly that is what that setting is for, i use it for all my listings, so if u run to zero the listing is still up with all the views and watchers, and once u add more inventory you are visible again.

I've seen people showing last one as well but then the problem is that some how it's edit like 20 times a day and always shows last one even if someone buys 2 or 3 of them it's like automation system. I really wish I knew how that went as well. I'm sure it's a 3rd party software maybe? Or an ebay app?

Yeah I've seen people with sold history of 2 or 3 in the past with it saying last 1. So I believe it does work. Try looking at the sold history? If you can see 2 or more sold then it does work also.

Oh my gosh I spent a few days looking for an app thinking it's what it was the entire time! :(

Thank you so much!

This is the add-on I referenced earlier.

https://www.scarcitymanager.com/

I've never used/tested it but it looks legit to me. I think it would be very useful (assuming it still works) if you were selling something with very little competition..

How have you been around here for 33 long %'s and you don't know about that? LOL. It seems like someone has to explain how the out of stock option works at least once a month on here..

I would rather use ebay's options posted then 3rd party. You never know with hidden fees and so on.

On the UK eBay site , we do not have the option for apps , I have signed up and contacted :- https://www.scarcitymanager.com/

But does anyone know any other alternative sites that offers a similar system at a low / free price.

I'm glad it's a not-so known feature. It gives sellers who use it a significant advantage over those who do not.
