Advice re: New Ebay / Paypal

Hi

I am about to set up a new Ebay & Paypal account but hope someone could answer a couple of questions:

I've never had my own Paypal account (used husbands PP with my old Ebay account) so can set up a new Paypal account in my own name (easier to lift limits?) with unused bank account & VCC (Entropay). Can Ebay still link me with the new Paypal account if it's in my real name?

I will use a new address & name for the Ebay account, or do these need to match the Paypal details?

Re: Entropay, I need to use my actual name & address for this, right?

Ebay and PP details need to match, you need to read the stealth guide before you start up as there are other factors involved which can link you, your old accounts

Ok, so if I use a variation of my name for both accounts I should be ok? (stealth guide states that Ebay cannot link through name alone).

I have moved house so address will be new likewise bank account, VCC, phone, email & IP.

I'm hoping that by doing it this way I will be able to lift limits without too much difficulty when it comes to ID etc. for PP

If you have a new address anyway, why not just use your real name on eBay and Paypal?

Since your in UK, I think doing it this way would make things easiest for you later down the road when you do need to provide ID..

Wouldn't it be risky using my real name in terms of linking? I appreciate they don't link by name alone but maybe real name and date of birth could flag my old account, or am I over complicating this?

I didn't consider the DOB. I have a few (USA) accounts in my real name which were created years after my original account was suspended, but I used a different DOB when registering those accounts. If the DOB is something that would need to be verified when removing limits on a UK account, disregard my post. Just throwing that idea out there..
