I cannot get a Tracfone etc.. but there are websites like this Buy Virtual Phone Numbers Worldwide | PayPal | Bitcoin

that you can buy a private virtual number to receive sms online for verification. Would it work?

That depends on the country

If you can use a real phone (PAYG in the UK) or the equvilanet in the USA that is IMO always the best way to go

If you do decide to use a virtual service, choose one that is further down google's list. The first few pages have been overused and burned.

The problem is not only if it is working or not, as JamesNorth101 said in here numbers might be recycled several times. You'll be able to receive your verification SM but your account will be linked to someonelse account you don't know...

Well this is why probably some times it seemed the number did not work. i did not receive anything.

What I am saying is that it "might" work but you are linked... somethig that shall be avoided with any account stealth or not.

I sent my youngest off with a £10 PAYG O2 international sim, for her holidays with Satan's sister .. worked fine from the US and Mexico 1p a minute ..suppose you could contact a seller who does pre loaded ones and buy bulk then use / sell them in your country .. if that makes any sense at all ?
