Some that know me here know that I reported that my sales had slumped terribly last July and only sold about $1k each month of Nov. & Dec. when I usually do 4x's that. So basically I got very discouraged and stopped listing when sales went to near zero Jan., & Feb. 2016. I still had a little inventory so I decided to list again shortly before Mother's day and have sold about $1800 in 20 days which is great for me as I am just trying to supplement my retirement. SO what changed because now I get 30-60 views per item for 7 day auction when I was lucky to get 10 per item last year? And no I have not changed my marketing strategy or anything else for that matter.

Seasonal changes, weather, all affect internet sales. Last week when it was very hot across much of the USA I had great sales. The holiday week that was nice and mild most places was terrible for example.
Sometimes competitors move on, run out of inventory etc..and you get huge spikes.
It is so hard to say what happened for you for sure. Glad things are looking up for you!
