My az account was limited today because my one vanilla visa is no longer
accepted.
I called az and was told that their new platform, accepts NO cards other
than true credit cards. She said no more pre-paid or debit cards. Even
from banks.
they followed up with this email:

As what we have discussed, the reason why you are having errors adding the credit card information is because you are using a debit/credit card. Our updated version of the system only allows credit card information. Please update your credit card information so you will be able to have full access to your seller account again.

I use a debit card for my one account, but it's a bank issued debit card. I think the issue is only with prepaids from walmart etc. I t maybe that im lucky with bank/debit working as ive heard some have issues with it If you have trouble getting a card you could always get a secured credit card.

The agent I spoke with said that all cards will have to be credit cards.
No bank debits, etc. She said it just started.

All I know is that 1 of my accounts has a bank debit attached to it with no issues. I guess time will tell. Also I wouldn't take what a phone rep says a s gospel on Amazon, talk to 3 different reps and they will give you 3 different answers and swear there right.
