I cannot say that is a surprise

1 - Lloyds do not like mismatching names
2 - No bank will let you have 35 savings accounts

You need to keep it to 3/4 per bank at most.

Halifax works for me(although some do not recommend)
Santander works
Natwest works

The worst thing you can do at this point is go and try open a bunch of accounts with different bank's.

If you already bank with another provider, and need more accounts, stick to savings accounts.

If you dont have another bank provider, you'll need to take a couple of steps back and let the dust settle. Trying to open a bank right now may backfire.

shutting your account down is the least of your problems.....you may not be able to open bank accounts for quite some time.

There's more than enough banks to spread the amount of accounts you're using
