i used a real address a common name, tracfone , ip that was only used for that acct. the acct was 3 mths old. Also my paypal had a vcc and i was sure of myself than got the 0/0 limit. I got hit 2 weeks ago with 2 accts and than that's all i been seeing sense.

I made around 15 this week, couldn't really make more, have college, but I think 15 is enough to track a pattern,

Well I just want you guys to know there is a way to get the 100/5000, but you guys really have to do some deep thinking, I don't want to post it, just in case it ever gets patched,

Does the "deep thinking" involve a fight with your conscience as to the legality of your method?

I was thinking the exact same thing. There are many ways to do things, hope his way is a legal way.

I have made literally 50 accounts since May/June and have had 50% success rate. Same way I have been using for years (of course fine tuning here and there) with no problems. So something major changed. I have been having quite a few people asking for some help. So here it is.

Then I found two things, PHONE is a huge issue. If you do a reverse look up and they see a carrier such as bandwith.com and not a real carrier such as Att or sprint so on. Then you have a very high risk of it being a 0/0 limit account or getting the mc900 emails please call us to verify such and such.

Other thing is they have SERIOUSLY stepped up their game on the whole automated verification system. They obviously go off of a public database. They want to be able to at least find your name in the zip code that you say you are living in.

OK PEOPLE did you get that? It has been posted here on this very thread and others but here it is again. They want to know that the name is in the zip code. Now as far as 100/5000 limits and legality and so on. That is up to you. You wanna border on or out right mess with "identity theft" thats your own choice. I would NEVER advise it or do it.

That is not what we are suggesting or advising. I want to make that a point here. Thats not what I am saying.

Since changing to TRACFONE. And having the names match up to the zip codes i have had 99% success rate. And by that I mean I have opened 30 account. And 28 out of 30 have had 10/1000
The only reason the 2 got 0/0 limits in my opinion was I was trying something out with Apartment building addresses. The system obviously did not like it.

I hope this helps. I truly do I know it can be extremely frustrating. But you can not be scared to test the waters and dive in. Opening accounts and changing little things with a notepad next to you writing down every thing you do will help you come across the exact formula that will work for YOU time and time again. It may take 12-14 hour days for weeks, but it's worth it!

For correct name with zip code use the white pages just put a different home address like from real estate website but same zip.

I am thinking that the way eBay is checking is similar to how PP verifies your CC. As long as the zip on the CC matches the zip you gave to PP everything is cool (pretty sure that is correct). So maybe now this is applied to eBay.

I've searched and cannot find a solid answer.

Newer to stealthing, have created about 30 accounts over the past couple months that ended in 0/0(and many more that worked fine now sitting in wait).

Is it worth hanging onto those 0/0 accounts and checking up on them later? Has anyone noticed the SL changing after some time?

I have some 0/0 accounts still around and check up on them every once in a while. Unfortunately none of them have gotten a raise. But the PayPal part of them still work, so that is good!

Thanks Fox. I'm assuming I can't just link the pp to another account or can I?

No do not do that. At this point the PP can only be used as a standalone account. Do not link it to any other eBay accounts, bummer I know

Theres actually some debate on this matter, since the ebay account technically isn't MC999'ed or suspended- it just doesn't have selling limits, and you are allowed multiple ebays per paypal. There was some discussion about this recently.

Is it worth it to create a new email and go through the steps of creating a new ebay account? Depends on how much you paid for the VCC/Vanillavisa

Very Important info, i opened 10 accounts, real info, and i got hit on on 3 with o/o what i see in commmon is the middle name. i didnt' use it when i open the account even do all the rest on the info was fine. the other ones have only 1 name, so if you are trying to find names on white pages try to not get names with middle names. hopes this helps.

yea i have figured out how to get 10/1000 on all my accounts, but I need to figure out how to get at least 100/5000 on a few accounts. You guys are saying its something to do with the name and zip code so I'll have to pay with that tonight.

I'm going to make some tonight and play around with that...

Like how they accept you as a seller.

I've been playing around with different ways to create a seller account successfully....so far without success. I was going to try MM79's method on page 9 of this thread, however I haven't figured out how to get to the page displayed in step 2. All avenues I've taken so far just bring me to the basic sign-in / sign-up page instead of the 'sign in to create a sellers account' / register page.

Any suggestions?
thanks

Go to the site map (bottom of the page), and it's somewhere in there under the selling section, or just google "create seller account ebay" and the first link will take you there.
