Ebay Reinstatement after Nearly 3 years

I had an ebay account which was suspended in November of 2014. I just moved on to another account but kept the paypal and email accounts for other things. after nearly 3 years the account have been reinstated recently with a personal email from an ebay employee along with contact and linketh profile. I checked to verify if the email was in fact coming from ebay and everything checks out. My question is should I treat this like a brand new account or can I go heavy on it. It has feedbacks but Positive feedback (last 12 month) is at 0%

You could sell heavy, if something goes wrong you can call John and say "John, I thought I was special, what gives?"

That's pretty awesome! Out of curiosity how much feedback did you have on the account when it was suspended? Was it an 'indefinite suspension' ? Why was your account originally suspended? Our account of nearly 10 years with 53000+ feedback was suspended 'indefinitely' in 2015 due to the number of buyer disputes opened. All of my other DSRs were Above Standard. My father had passed away unexpectedly and my wife was in the hospital with pneumonia. I resolved all.of these disputes of course and explained myself to EBay obviously to no avail. I'm wondering if any other sellers had their accounts reinstated that were 'suspended indefinitely' ? Maybe there's hope? Any info would be greatly appreciated

The fact that "million" is so horribly misspelled near the end, leads me to believe this is not legit!

The account was suspended because it had too many cancellation, but the cancellation was from just one customer repeatedly buying and not paying. Feedback was only at 43 @ 100%at time of suspension

eBay are losing users and have been for a while now.

They know many banned users are going stealth too so its in their interest to get you selling under your real information as its less likely you will screw them.

Ebay just shut me down for having multiple accounts I didn't even use...one old account that should have been suspended was still open, and because it was still restricted (after me fixing the restriction issue on the account I ACTUALLY USE), they decided to suspend me permanently because of the restriction on my other account.

Screw ebay, they shafted me so I really don't care how I sell on their platform, as long as I make money. I tried to play the game their way, they don't want to play ball, so I don't care anymore at this point.

I forwarded the email chain to spoof@ebay.com and they told me it was a spoof email! It was a generic reply, so I can't be sure they spent much time investigating. But I'd traced the email headers and the initial email & replies originated from eBay's corporate mail servers. It's really bizarre.

Has anyone else gotten this email?

This is generic email sent out to many ex sellers and current. I don't think this is a invitation to start selling again
