If I sell a $1500 item on a decade old account that only sold $100 items, I get limited as well. Now if I started gifting $5000 out and have never withdraw before, I would get an extreme limitation like you did also.

the paypal limitation isn't the problem its the eBay one. It wasn't a limitation too it was a perma ban with the whole lie about we can't tell you why but it was the wrong information.

And the first sentence, if its a limitation with questions asked rather than don't come here again type deal then that would be normal. not this.

It is quite normal. You must have little experience with this, but I would bet 100K that 7 out of 10 accounts would end exactly the same way if handled identically.

You look ridiculously risky in their eyes and quite frankly you are. You did exactly what a scammer would do. Sell some cheap used junk for reputation and then dump a few high dollar items, THEN send a gift payment of 5K to another paypal account. I would limit you too. Point is all food for though. YOUR actions are the problem, not ebay or paypal. Your actions are super sketchy. Ebay and paypal dont like sketchy actions.

Mostly posted for the newbies who may be reading. This stuff is stealth 101. I learned the hard way like you.

That is far to much, to fast on a new account.

When ebay ban a user, they NEVER tell you why it was banned. So not sure how they told you ''discrepancies in my personal information''

Is your pay-pal account limited to?

I beg to differ, i have ferreted eBay customer service many times after getting banned and ive found that i was often banned for getting linked to a certain account, and once i through chat i even discovered that i got banned for listing the same item in the same catergory, or " exhibiting the same behavior" as my banned account.

there is so much you can pick up through innocent conversation with naive ebay personnel if you persist and insist to resist

In my experience they've always told me they couldn't tell me for "security reasons" lol

Forget about paypal for now. I didn't do anything on paypal before they banned me.

You did though. You tried to do a few silly things and they banned you because you set off so many red flags.

You just cannot treat a eBay or PayPal account like that, real or stealth, and expect it to last more than a few weeks

The account went from 10k-15k-70k limits even though I was no where close to 15k. Would have been a great acc to have.

I understand the paypal limitation. Thats what I'm saying.

And no I didn't do anything on paypal wrong that caused the ebay to be suspended which is what I have a problem with. There wasn't many red flags the only one was selling too much after a month.

My paypal is fine touch wood.

So for future readers.

-How long would you wait to list an items?
-What would you start listing with, because books and games were called junk by someone and they know this is suspicious?
- Maximum amounts to earn in month 1, month 2, month 3?

I often say to clients, take the limits your given with a pinch of salt, because more often than not its a honeypot for disaster.

£8k of sales within 6 weeks is a red flag on both ebay and paypal's side. Both share the same outlook on what they deem risky behaviour.

Quote:
-How long would you wait to list an items?
You can list an item with a few days of starting to use the account.

Quote:

If its called Junk by someone, then know junk works a treat to get the ball rolling. So long as its not branded or high risk junk.

Quote:

There's no set figure. But I tell my clients £500 month 1, and double each month their after.
Withdraw roughly once a week, and dont withdraw more than 50 - 75% of your balance. Leave some of it behind.

A bad move would be for example, selling £8k in 6 weeks, then trying to all of a sudden withdraw 100% of the £8k for the first time.

I appreciate the replies. I may try again in the future. You seem to know what you're talking about too as an account seller. Ive looked at mc113 on here and it can be totally random. Paypal told me on the phone, nothing out of the ordinary on your account!

After browsing for a week
Sell low value for a month and limit it to £200 a month and slowly jump up to £200000 only joking

Pretend your the charity shop in the high street sell £3 items for a month then increase it each week from £100 a month to £200 and then £300 and so sounds boring but it's better than losing a stealth account and waiting 180 days 😎
