UK eBay & PaypalGeneral discussions about eBay.co.uk Suspensions and Paypal.co.uk limited accounts. This forum is geared towards UK eBay & Paypal sellers.
Item has been posted...but what has the alarm bells ringing is the buyer opened his ebay account today!!! - with a foreign sounding name, but when I checked the paypal the name is an english name?!?
So don't know what is happening...I have blocked the buyer from bidding on anything in the future and blocked zero feedback bidders.
I shall see what happens with the sale and keep you guys posted - it may be useful info for everyon on here

If the item sells, it needs to be posted. Do you diligence, check their buyer feedback ect.
You cannot worry you will get scammed each time, if you do then eBay is not the place to be selling your things.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Don't know what all this hype is about, it's a cost of doing business. Not once have I been scammed in years! If you worry about that too much you shouldn't be selling or trading online
in your position I would not send goods out straight away, see what happens with the payment, if paypal limit your account asking for more info or if they just hold for 21 days. If a hold then send the goods and upload the tracking
you can always refund the buyer if an issue then occurs on your paypal account
see what happens over 48 hours after payment
WTH are you getting these useless pieces of assistance from?
I List after a week and sell secondhand stuff for around a tenner and not any iphones or vero products
ebay will ring you up and stop you selling while they ask for supplier invoices for your products
the slower the better as they are on it and don't buy lots of giffgaff sim cards for a penny each for feedback it looks dodgy to them

Just under £300 will clear in the next few days and £280 of it is my sisters for her camera that sold - she wants the whole £280 withdrawn!
Told her it would limit the account and I don't want that to happen..is it best to send the docs in to remove the £1900 limit and make the account look "genuine" if the docs are sent in?
What other way is there to withdraw funds in a stealth way instead of asking someone to send you a paypal invoice all the time?
spent so much time on opening the stealth that i don't want it to go down or get limited etc

I have been having a nightmare with Entropay I added a credit card as a funding source and Entropay still nearly 2 weeks on not added the authrization code after they deducted £1.00 from the card.
All I can see on my bank statement is 'Entropay London' - and no 6 digit code which I need to complete verification of the card!
its driving me mad - i have seller fees to pay of asap...entropay have turned out as incapable as paypal!!!
Withdraw SLOWLY to bank account - did you get positive feedback? Item arrived? Dont just withdraw in one shot. If all is achieve, perhaps 50-100 quids worth a try

DO NOT send documents in when you have money in the account - have you not thought what will happen if those documents are rejected for any reason? You definately won't be seeing that £300 for 6 months
I am leaving the money in paypal i know the paypal will get limited if i withdraw the money i am going to 'age' the money in the paypal account...if anyone else can help please pm

buyer left positive feedback which is good but still not worth the risk in trying to withdraw the money - because the account will get limited.
I am going to 'age' the money - leave it alone for a while before trying
