Default How to safely sell vero?

My account recently got taken down for vero violations, the company itself told ebay to shut me down. I have a lot of vero items and its all ive been selling ever since I started doing ebay about 6 months ago, so is there any way to stay under the radar? I have never actually gotten suspended for this before. If I start listening 1-2 a week and slowly build up my rep, do you think I will be fine? Any other tips?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Really selling VeRO is only asking be limited again and again..

You can try listing in different categories, using different titles and descriptions.. but persistent VeRO will find you.

It's not a good idea selling VeRO items.

Certain VERO items you can get away with 365 days a year.
BUT
Certain VERO items will get pulled within hours of you listing them.

The trick is to learn what brands & items work 365 days a year and which ones do not.

I agree with you hwga on that. There are items you could list and sell a ton of without ever seeing one mc019. You just have to trial and error certain items.

If you do happen to get a violation and have a good amount of product left. Either quit while you're ahead or learn how other people are getting away with it. Take everything into detail. Title, how the products being shown in a picture, category. There's a lot of other things as well. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I think the same. Just list 1 or 2 items and not to much at the same time. What i always do if i list vero items is list them as used. You maybe get a little bit less for it, but F... it. Because i don`t think you stuff is real, so you still make a big profit. If you`re items are real just make sure you list all the details and make good photo`s from the packaging. If they take you down and you send the company(that asked ebay to take you down) all this information the will put you back on within 24 hours. I had a lot`s of phone call and emails with the nice lady from BOSE, because i was selling the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on ebay. And i just went to the electronic store here local. And but a real pair, made some photo`s from it. Send this to here and within 24 hours my suspension was over. Try to contact them by email, because most of the times company `s only have 1 or 2 people on the counterfeit department so you take a big risk with calling them with 3 or 4 different names. I hope this helps you a bit.

Very true, there are lots of tricks to learn, you have to find the answers yourself as when you find a way of selling VERO and making cash its not the kind of information you want to give out as the loophole would disappear very quickly. Find a way and milk it as quick as you can because it wont last forever.

Im not sure if I mentioned this before but you can search google for "product + ebay" and if its a popular vero item, you should see some articles people have written. Find ones that compare the vero to real ones. Those are KEY features you need to focus on in order to properly sell sensitive items.

Vero can be sold safely, learn what works for other sellers doing the same Vero items as you and see how they take their pictures. Sometimes less is better and if you have some old receipt laying around, good idea to show some part of it.

Best way to sell Vero is on your own website. Ebay will forever be taking you down and it is more pain and headaches then rewards. I have been Vero's so many times (even for legit items!).....ya Vero sucks.

it really depends on what the item is. The term "vero" is too vague as some vero items you wont have a problem with but others you will. Please be more specific.

every time i am listing a "branded" item i always research it, google the item get specifics find out prices correct measurements and colors offered.. it is a time consuming process but very important if you want to stay alive on e-bay..homework if you will. also never answer questions without researching sender, many times someone may be targeting you..be CAREFUL!!!

That's some solid advice Cathy. I agree.

Is there a way to do this on Ebay APART from putting a link on your About Me page? You can include videos can't you. SO couldn't you just put a link in the vid or watermark it with your website URL?

I also read the terms where it says that you can have a link to an external site that further explains/describes the item. This opens an opportunity for some links to promoting your other products... BUT has anyone actually tried/risked trying it??

Stay away from Nike if youre a new seller. I bought 20 items (100% legit), scheduled them and had them all removed and the account suspended before any of the listings were even active. Very strange. I kept emailing them asking for an opportunity to contact the reporter with my receipts but every email is met with the usual bulls*** response about their concern.

Can you explain if when and how 1 vero can suspend me/you plz?

Not exactly. Would need No I.D. to define 'suspended'. In that is the account suspended/limited for 7 days, 30 days or forever: x1 vero could cause that.
