AOL proxy - does your WAN IP address change for EBAY purposes? Not necessarily
Was installing some new software and computer re-booted as a result. I went to go log into AOL so I could access my ebay account (I have been doing it this way successfully for eight months now) I go to check my IP in AOL and it comes up the same as my regular DSL.
I've shut down and restarted it like 3 or 4 times and the same results each time. Could it be that AOL has quit using a proxy?
I'm afraid to sign in any other way right now, I have like 70 FBs at 100% and I'm afraid to raise any red flags. Just tried again and finally got AOL to sign on with the proxy. Anyone have any ideas of why it would take 4 or 5 tries? I used IP Burger and other IP sites and they all gave my regular ISP DSL IP. BTW I was actually logged in because I could compose new email, etc. This just has me a little confused this time
