account still up for a day and half...bids have been placed.

3 day auction for new users may be a myth. i think they care more about the items you are listing than how long you are listing them for.

I asked a question about this not too long ago here, and I agree with you. It seems like it's more dependent on whether or not eBay deems your stuff "high risk".

So fake vero reports come from companies that don't exist or are they people who pretend to be from a real company?

I list 3-day items on all my accounts, every time. Never get suspended for it.

When you are just starting out a new account, they will shut you down for 3 day BIN auctions, especially if the item is in a high-risk category or has a brand name in the title, but normal auctions (without BIN) will work fine.

My humble "Suggestion" to keep your new accts Safe.. Use just the 7 day auctions at first, use all their suggestions, use the short form,
--make the listing simple as pie.. i.e.no bold, no color, 1 picture

Blue Dress
Got from mom ,works in nyc
new with receipt

------------------------ Thats it, folks.. (for me, anyhow)..
p.s. this WILL PEAK your customers interest, if Listed in proper category, but NOT peak T+S... if u catch my drift,
--youre first Questions, gonna be--whats the brand name say? (now u listed that with a reserve of $200)--
--Your Response.. well i can see, it starts with a G, is it Gucci? can t pronounce it, but sounds French maybe?
My mom always buying me expensive things to wear, I buy my stuff at walmart, i need the money for my car pyt..
(Now- the Buyer feels comfortable u got a genuine item, AND they have absolutely NO reason to think youre a Banned , 10 yr Vet power Seller)...
got it??

its weird, i never get to use the 3 day listing option because ebay wont let me. They would give me the error msg saying " this item can only be listed using 5,7, or 10 day listing. Does anyone know why this is happening? I sell clothing on ebay.

no i dont understand that msg, on my old account it would let me list 1 type of vero item on a 3 day but another type of vero item wasnt able to do that and i had to put it on a 5 days auction.
on my old account i only ever did 1 or 3 days auctions the min i put 1 on a 7 day listing my account was suspended, id already had warnings for the same item but on the 7 day listing the vero owner actually sent ebay a letter stating my items where fake so i will never do a 7 day listing again.
