question about transfering someones' ebay account to mine

my friend has a ebay account for about 3 years, it's a buying/selling account (mostly buying) and his paypal is linked to his ebay account.

he doesn't mind giving me his account, right now, i'm wondering what i need to do to get it transfered to me safely, without connecting his paypal account to that ebay account.

Get the birthdate he put because eBay never lets you view or change that.

As Modee suggested to me once it is better to keep everything the same on this account because any changes will draw red flags and then suspension will follow. Just make sure you have all the pertinent information you need for the ebay/paypal account when you need and just add your bank information to the paypal etc.
