How can I change the IP address if I connect via an Ethernet cord? I live in an apartment complex that connects to a ResNet. Please help. Thank

If you're connected to a shared internet.. you can't change your Ip address. You have to have your Own ISP that'll allow you to reset the modem and change the ip address. Time for dialup.
