Thats why it's good to seperate the account ip address. meaning put the seller accounts on diffrent Ip's

You also need completely different info, too. eBay will link it anyway they can.

Not really if you do it correctly. As long as your ebay accounts are on different ips (not linked), and your Paypal account is not linked to your ebay accounts, then you'll be fine, have as many as you want.

One thing mentioned incorrectly is that your router gets the IP address, which is wrong. It is your modem that gets the IPs

Question Question about creating multiple accounts

Hi & thanks,

I've successfully created an account over 30 days ago and have been selling well.

I'd like to create a few more backup accounts. I'd create them following Aspkin's guide and use a new IP for each account. My question is what about logging into all these accounts in the future with the same IP, they'd all be linked together correct? So if one was suspended the rest would soon follow.

How do some of you go about this that have multiple accounts?

I do have a couple unsecured wireless routers within distance so that would keep them seperated if I can maintain a good signal. I suppose I could always add a 2nd ISP for the backup account also.

Any other ways??

Thanks alot!

You can use AOL browser as a proxy, theoretically you will get a different IP address each time you open the browser, so its random. You can use a network switch and run 5 or more computers off on broadband connection each with a different IP. Use those unsecured networks, I would. If you have a router, login to your control panel, change the mac address of the router, reboot the cable modem, you will get a different IP. The router should auto reconfig/reboot. Just a few suggestions.

Do you mean a router as a network switch? And will using Aol proxy give you the boot off ebay because it gives you an ip address away from your home city?

Here's another option which I'm thinking should work fine.

I'm currently on charter running a hacked cable modem & have two more spares in the closet. I can just put a splitter on the main line & feed the other two modems. I'm thinking of using just the one computer & when I switch between accounts plug in the ethernet cable from whichever modem that I originally created it from. I'll have to be super careful to make sure I dump the cookies each time. Also hopefully like what was talked about in the past is they can't track your network card MAC.

So with those 3 & a couple of unsecured access points that'll set me up with 5 ip's & each ip will only log into the account which it created.

How do you hack a cable modem and what does it do after its hacked?

I can run 2 different ip's on my comcast cable modem. but I have to switch from usb to ethernet or vice versa. I can't use both at once

Actually never mind about the hack. I just read about that and I don't want to get banned by my ISP. Dial up sucks

ok i think i can use a dsl router and create 2 seperate ips

Avarshav ,did you get it to work ,if so how?

below is a quote from an dsl service compamy explaining how to setup network

"You must first decide two things about your network: 1) Are you going to use our supplied IPs or a router to create your own? 2) Are you going to run wires to each PC or use a non-wired solution (such as wireless or powerline adapters)

You either need an IP for each PC or you need a router that will create additional IPs for you, such as a "wireless router" or a "DSL router". Using extra IPs is the easiest way to setup a home network, but using a DSL router or wireless router will also work"

they are saying a router will create the ips.

Aspkin i know you said you have to have 2 modems and your works good .

above they say just the router is needed and works ,does anyone know more on this ,i have been looking ,would be nice to find a guide to set up 2 or more ips with a router .i dont think my provider allows me to use 2 modems but i shall see.

It depends what you want to do with the account. If you want to sell with this new account, then yes you'll need to add a credit card and other details. If that's what you're asking.
