Merchant Account - Complaint Rate
Hi -
I currently run a Yahoo Store and use PayPal as a merchant to handle credit cards. I've had no problems as of yet and my business is on the up and up but I'm in constent fear that my account will get limited due to my dispute rate. I currently process around 900-1000 transactions on this account and on average get 20-25 non-receipt claims within a given month, 9 out of 10 times I have tracking numbers for these packages. Also I might add that my highest valued item is around $74.00 so these arent high ticket items at all.
Am I just being paranoid or is this a high dispute rate and could eventually get my account tossed. I already had this account limited before, I think it was just normal BS of PayPal as I was bringing in so much cash right off the bat that they wanted supplier info etc.
Anyway any feedback from other merchant account holders is greatly appreciated.
