I sent a friend some money with PayPal. My account is verified and takes around GBP2000 a year. I let my credit card linked to the account lapse a while back and didn't bother to renew it. I was expecting the funds I sent to come out of my balance, but in fact they made a bank transfer (e-cheque) which takes a while to clear. This duly failed, not sure why. PayPal say don't call us, call the bank. They also said, because the bank transfer failed, we have deleted this bank account from your PayPal account. So what I need, is a step-by-step guide, to reinstating the bank account, without any problems. The account still shows as verified, I have no intention of adding a credit card, though if push came to shove, I might consider a prepaid debit card as a last resort. Is it simply a case of reconfirming the details, or are they likely to demand extra info? Thanks guys |

If they have removed the bank account from PP, i would consider it unlikely, that you can just re-enter the bank account details, as they will have been flagged already on the system, 100% certain way too find out, is try it.. the PP account is nothing short of useless for you at the moment anyway.. |
