Amazon new process
 

Amazon (UK) has defiantly tweaked their verification process in the last Month

Upon creating an account yesterday using my usual method and real info (Yes its legit !). Amazon have not asked me to submit any documents , or picture of ID.

I only inputted passport number I have not attached a deposit method either.

All the account says is "Your account is being verified and you will be contacted should we require and further information"

Usually once I create an account Amazon will ask for ID and Bank statement straight away.

Anyone else had this? and how long did it take to get through.

yeah i had this. been trying to verify my account for days.

they let you list but your listings come up as inactive.

I've had to upload bank statements, passport, proof of address and they even asked for my UTR number. the whole process has taken around 13 days and counting so far.

something has definitely changed.

That's completely normal
Nothing is New

They will request from you documents soon

Normal since when? previously it has taken 3 days maximum to verify new legit accounts.

Since very Long time
More than year

It can take few hours to many weeks to get verified even legit account

Is amazon UK that much different than in USA?

In usa I believe you get asked for bank account to disburse payment and they also ask you for Social Security.

You do not have to enter any bank account details when creating Amazon Uk account. This is different to US as they require you add this information straight away.

Amazon, didn't actually ask for any documentation this time, Just Pass num. I suspect once the account does 6k sales they will ask for Bank statement and proof of address.

IMO I would not even bother with stealth on AMZ UK.

Nope, definitely not. I have some friends in UK who are old and new to Amazon and doing 11K/mo and they are doing fine.

Just have to be willing to put the work in and figure out a solution.

Those who says "forget about it" , are the ones who will never move forward.

Each platform has its own issues and as much as we hate the problems amazon or life gives us, we love money more.

Amazon uk is not a thing of the past ,there are many work arounds to it

Exactly. Stealth will always work... the basics will always be the same.
But as things are updated, some things just need to be tweaked a tiny bit or reorganized.

This is why the amazon ghost and ebay stealth are really good quides.

You guy have to realize this.Amazon in the last few months is starting a new tactic for New signups.They have a 2-3 different ways on each platform that you may have a different experience from someone else during the process.This is to throw us off from figuring out their system and working as a community to figure there methods out.They are even doing this for usa accounts.This is why no body here can agree with eachother of whats going on,were all seeing different things.Its not being triggered by anything specific that your doing wrong ,its just random.Your registration might happen this way ,while the next person happens that way.If people here would stop all this secretive stuff or acting like know it alls we could actually figure out what amazons up too much faster.Because right now they are playing us for fools.It would serve everyone here justice for the sake of amazon stealth to report their sign up experiences,nobody seems to do that any more on this forum.

That's actually a good point.

The basics from amazon ghost doesn't really change it's the variation during process that we need to share with people.

For me it's always been sign up, get angry because they auto sign me up for the pro account , then they ask for tax ID to verify before I can do anything,

I use to have that issue.But it stopped like a year ago for me with their upgrades.Amazon has a lot of glitches.What i would do is just sign up til i got the registration form I wanted.Use crazy looking email addresses so you dont have to actually register the email and you can make sure its not already taken.Because amazon doesnt verify the email at all.

As others has said UK Amazon can put you in that pending verification for several days before requesting verification, typically its within 24 hours though

Same situation with USA except it happens usually much sooner. The issue with USA is long delays and high fail rates once you begin the process
