amazon account vat problem
 

Hi , I have usa amazon account and I am selling in Uk , I get email from amazon that I need to upload vat number from uk , I have a problem now , becouse account is not mine I bought so I can not register for vat , if someone has such the same problem? How to resolve that problem , to keep that account ?

lemme get this straight, the AMazon account itself is USA, but you are selling on the UK platform?

And where did you buy the account from? From our Marketplace? If so, I suggest you contact the seller and ask for help .

Another method you can learn is by reading the amazon ghost, since in USA, you can get a tax ID number no problem.

Yes , I have account form usa and I am selling in Uk ,. I bought from aspkin (elmo? I contacted but I don't have any help he dont know nothing about tax

Non eu members must have tax uk If You want sell in Uk . Here is problem , I have 55 days , if I will not providing THEY WILL BLOCK MY ACCOUNT

Where are your goods dispatched from?

Edit: Juts re-read that your based in UK.

Unless you can convince Amazon you are a US seller who stores their items somewhere outside the UK (but within the EU) you are stuck.

Overseas seller have a zero VAT threshold.

Not sure there is much you can do without a VAT number then.

Well you can't get away from this, you have to provide then VAT or you will loose your account

how you clear this issue if it's another ghost whatever account ,you simply open new ltd for each account as for EU there's one VAT attached to sole trader i supose giving out same VAT twice will rise the flag ?
