Bank account question

I am setting up an account in a friends name. Can I put the bank account in my name? I have heard I can from this form but that was back in 2010. Any advice would be helpful.

You can but you should do so after building 1-2 weeks of history/cookies/low risk activity

Doing it too soon can trigger re-verification
