Amazon Ghost Guide still accurate?

Question is whether or not the guide is still accurate. From my experience, Amazon asks for ID card (passport, drivers license) immediately upon seller account creation. How to bypass that if you are going ghost with a different name? Doesn't seem to click with how amazon is nowadays.

amazon ghost is still relevant and will cover the basics on how to operate/manage multiple shops
