Amazon Keeping Money after 90 days
 

I assume I have 0 chance to get this money but was selling with a stealth account and the account got shut down and just got this email

We have determined that your account was used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, and illegal activity and decided not to disburse any funds to you. Due to the nature of our business, we do not provide details on our investigation methods.

We may not respond to further emails regarding the status of your account or the hold on your funds.


I assume I am screwed but just seeing if there is any insight

how easy/hard it is to get your money out depends entirely on the reason of suspension

if its for authenticity issues that you were not able to appeal with invoices, those are very hard to recover funds from

I figure the money is gone and I assume you cannot go to arbitration on a stealth account? Who would you recommend emailing because I never seem to get a response

When I went to make a withdrawal it said my credit card was invalid and to update it and before I could even do that, it said my account was under review and then instantly suspended like 5 minutes later

I've seen people suggest trying arbitration as they have had lawyers win cases even for stealth accounts. whether that's true or not, idk.. but the claims I've seen suggest we should try anyways, depending on the amount

That is 100% what happened and there is 0 reason to lie because then it would not help my situation if I got an answer to an issue that was not my problem

I think what he meant was you should have included this info when you first made the thread.

Anyways, I find it hard to believe that this is what triggered the suspension in the first place. When Amazon bans AND keeps people's money, it's usually due to an inauthentic complaint.

So have you gotten anything like this at all in your inbox?
Did you have other issues we're not aware of?

It's next to impossible to get the money out once they took it. I'm assuming your balance in your account is 0?
