Default Is restoring window good enough?

If an Amazon account gets suspended on a HP laptop, is restoring windows and deleting all files good enough to prevent a link?
Or can Amazon see mac address or anything else?

They can't see your MAC address.
And it’s usually enough for amazon as well. Which is what matters in this question

You have to make sure that everything else is totally new

You were just answering without really reading the question properly which is fine as the answer is still valid but it’s not always as eBay is quite different to Amazon

I have done in the past as has nearly everybody on the forum. Most people just say my bad and move on with it...

I was making sure that the poster had the correct advice and that when he read your post and it said ‘eBay’ he realised it was still relevant to his situation.

Like I said everyone does it. I have done it plenty of times and plenty of people have pointed out to me. You don’t need to get so offended...

For amazon, this is what most people do, they just reinstall their OS.
So yes, go for it.

Haha, but you've chased down, hounded, stalked and virtually assaulted agent006140 at every chance you get. Can't believe you're so triggered today. What's the secret? Is your espresso machine jammed?

Fresh OS install, deleting previous partitions should be fine

Go with a different browser installed on the fresh new OS

Its not just about an IP address or restoring windows, but a collection of different links that make you a hotlink and then a ban. . Once you start adding links (photo hash, email, tel number, name, address, bank info and so on) then the hotter the trail comes leading back to you. You have to cover all the bases to be almost 100% safe long term. And remember not to slip up or let down your guard while you are using your stealth- ebay account, ie, never work on ebay while drinking Alcohol, Seriously

And they cant see your Mac address
