Making a new Amazon seller account
 

About 6 years ago I had an Amazon account that was banned. The reason for the ban was a buyer made a case for item not received even though tracking said delivered. Amazon gave the buyer a refund, I then closed my co-op account that was linked to Amazon and just stopped selling as I was put off from the lack of seller protection. I started getting emails that I owed about £200.00 in selling fees. I have not paid one penny since then, its been about 6 years. Im thiking about making a new Amazon account and giving them a try again. Should I just make a new account with my real info? I forget what info I used back then, I have all this on a disk that I have to find. But What is the prospect of getting back on 6 years later?

Worth giving a try makesure dont use same address phone no etc which previously used

Yeah, but what about linking bank account address to Amazon account address, they have to match last time I cheked. Im good with eBay stealth, but never tried to get back on with Amazon.

Ring them and ask if you can have your old account back, pay off the balance if you have too, it will be worth it if you get it back, much more stable account.

I have just discovered that Amazon UK does not allow the sale of used clothing. So no use to me trying to get back on at this time anyway. But thanks for the tips, for future ref

When opening a new Amazon account after suspension can I use a sole proprietor EIN or should I use a LLC EIN. I do not want them to ask me for my SSN

Either one is fine and you can read more through the tax interview when you get to it

Thanks for the reply. After reading through these threads more, I decided to incorporate and will be trying to get verified with an S-Corp. I'll have to wait longer for all the paper work to be in order.

I read somewhere that with EIN's, they need to be 90 days or older to be verified with Amazon. Is this true? It will be about 60 days for the S-Corp to be established so 90 days is not that much longer. I just want to be sure I am not going to try and get verified with the EIN not being 90 old when it should be.

I am so stressed over all of this. After having to wait (I was waiting for the LLC EIN to be 90 days old and now I have to wait for all of the S Corp to be established)...I may coming to you to purchase a verified account from you!

I would really like to get this done so the tax structure is set up properly though. I just shut down my second account --the one I paid to have set up but the tax structure was all goofy. I need to have a verified account where I can pay the taxes straight forward.

Give it about 2 weeks from the point of registering your LLC to adding it on amazon

That seems to be enough time for everything to match up

You dont have to buy a 1200 dollar account just to do the tax part of amazon.The seller on this site does work arounds that anybody here can technically do.He isnt registering a usa tax id on your behalf.
