Does amazon suspend all regions or only one?
 

My friend got his US amazon account suspended but it seems like it doesnt affect EU and Asia region.

Can he continue selling in EU and ASIA and just forgo Amazon US or how does it work. Advise please

Hmmmm....... I'd say give it a try.

Don't overcommit to it though because it could get deleted altogether.

In the meantime grab the amazon ghost and make some back ups too

The suspension of your friends US account will not cause the other region accounts to follow. Advise them to continue selling as normal.

does that mean if i were to ungate a brand in US i must do ungating another 2 times for asia and EU regions?

Who says he can continue to sell on others ever experienced selling or ever experienced deactivated like this :) I tried once and sent products to amazon I created the listing created a shipping plan with no problem at all but when I tried to click activate listing it goes active and inactive instantly. So I learn that the problem caused by deactivation. So I'm just saying it's risky to use that account. So If you got deactivated on one of the marketplaces just use a new one don't take risks.

If one of the markets is suspended, its risky to use the other markets

If you're going to anyway, treat it as if the shop can be deactivated at any point so avoid sending in large inventory and keeping large amounts of money on the shop

Are they completely different entities? Any common ground, address, name, same browser, can, and more than likely will, cause the domino effect.

Get Ghost and understand how to set up different accounts as totally different business. If one goes sideways, the others stay active.

I ship my products to amazon CA while my US was suspended. When I used fulfilled by merchant and sent the product on my own, everything was smooth. Then I tried using FBA and sent the goods to CA's warehouse, I received a "Barcode cannot be scanned problem". I used the same UPC as my US inventory. Not sure if it got linked and will have any issues.
