Tired of black hat sellers
 

My listing has been banned 8 times for the past 5 months :ban?:

I can assume who's doing it and how he's doing it, and I am done trying to deal with the problem using white hat methods (hiring attorneys and reaching out to Amazon to point out the issue I have).

I am no angel, I've been manipulating reviews myself, but I've never attacked other sellers.

Now I am looking for someone who could teach me counterattack. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather not learn it at all, but I have no other choice.

Who did it first tho? if that's genuine that something is attacking you without you doing nothing. I can help you play their own game.

I never attacked him, so he was the first one. He's been manipulating ever since he got into this niche.

I've had a fellow competitor who was selling the same product. The black hat seller got his listing with 200+ reviews hijacked, changed the brand and merged it to his ASIN :doh:

That's how amazon is. It's VICIOUS and super tough unless you're a giant player.

Do you own your brand? Do you have your own asin?

Yup, I am a PL seller with Brand registry, but none of that matters to Amazon I guess.

P.S. Managed to do a remap few hours ago to a new listing - got banned almost instantly for the same reason

Can you get on the phone with your Amazon manager?
What was the reason that your listings are closed?

I have a brand registry, not Vendor Account. They don't give away managers for Brand registry (do they?).

Anyhow, he adds information as if the product contained drugs (rock'n roll?), which it obviously doesn't. I spend time trying to get past incompetent answers trying to reach out to a single person willing to actually look into the issue and handle this case but it take so much time and effort.

It's so frustrating to see these type of security breaches in Amazon system giving ****ty sellers an opportunity to have an upper hand.

Frankly if they are messing with you on the back end there's not much you can do.
(how did you figure this out btw?)

You can sell your asin when they are asleep and deactivate when they wake up.

Eventually, you'll need to sell something else to get away from these people to save your account. I'm sure you have some infractions on your acc already in the performance tab right?

It's hard to miss information that you would never add to the listing (poppy, CBD, hallucinogenic mushrooms etc.)

Don't think this would help, it seems he's got at least 2 people taking shifts to ban listing. I need to counterattack, otherwise, he would continue doing his dirty job.

Yeah it's a 2-digit number here in the Performance tab :s

Sadly, I can see that leaving this niche would be a temporary solution. Amazon is full of breaches.

Recently I saw a variation with 10+k reviews that's got nothing to do with the product. And I saw the same number on another ASIN, which means that the "donor" is the same, but for some bizarre reason you don't see it in the variation.

Seems very tough without legal assistance - might be worth looking into if your profit margin and sales can allow

I actually did, they are working on the case.

Doubt this could help though. The only way is to get a vendor account with the personal manager I guess.

If anyone knows any methods to prevent other sellers to modify the listings, please let me know. I would really appreciate this information

1. U need to hire people . I hire people in Philippines for 500 a month 6 days week.
2. Monitor your asins
3. get brand registrey
4. get a person to attack there listing by chaning there images and add keywords to ban there listing, have his asin unmerged and report seller as abusive manipulating asins.
5. keep opening tickets from other amazon seller accounts regarding his asins.
6. target other items if he selling and call it bootleg or selling used item .. you have to be kill or be killed attitude . I give no mercy to chinese sellers i wll freeze up there money and kill everyone who sells the same asin. Im ruthless ..i give 2 ****s if they starv on the street . this attitude you have to have towards your compitetors.


I have encountered this before because im nitch market and chinese sellers are ruthless.

Are you monitoring your listings?

You can repair the listings as well.

You need to fight fire with fire sometimes.

Monitoring can only do so much...

Once a listing is screwed over it's rather difficult to repair at times.
Their goal is to bring you down for the hours that you won't make money and they will...

You should not give any mercy to chinese sellers, they think of anyone who is non-chinese as lesser human beings, i'm not even joking, when in reality the opposite is true. The other poster mentioned outsourcing the dirty work to phillipines which is a good idea. Also your legal work might amount to something, good luck!

I hate Chinese sellers. How do they change the detail page info if you are a registered brand?
