| Yupino | 12-21-2021 08:09 PM | Otp Hello, I hope this is right place to post.
My 1-year-old stealth account was asked 2 SV first time since set up.
There is no choice other than entering OTP by authenticator, but no text or email.
I scanned QR code and that shows the email associated to the account.
However, the box says, Not Valid.
I tried other authenticators but didn't work.
Could you help me?
Thank you. |
| Beautiful | 12-25-2021 10:25 AM | Re: Otp If you have the original QR code, and it once worked then it sounds like you have a time sync issue
This is common if you try to login from a new system/setup
The time on your two step device has to be an exact match to the time that is on the system accessing the Amazon account. Match the timezone and then re-scan the code, it should work. Sometimes you gotta close the two step program out and re-add the code once everything matches |

Thank you for your suggestion.
Yes, I have original QR code that I only once used at beginning.
My system for this account is not new. I bought new PC and fresh VPN for this account when I set up and never have changed. I have been using same chrome too.
I tried two authenticators and also borrowed my friend's one, but nothing happened.
What else should I try?
Thank you |

| Yupino | 12-27-2021 04:03 PM | Re: Otp Yes, I did I hope.
I am in PST zone. I deleted authenticator once and re-installed. And then scanned QR code again. Also my friend who lives a mile away, scanned my QR code by Zoom. His authenticator showed same numbers as mine. Our phones and PC are set in PST.
Just for in case, I also tried my phone setting change to EST, CST, MST. did not work though. |

Thank you | The new PC on new account is great.
Which VPN did you use? |
| Yupino | 12-27-2021 07:43 PM | Re: Otp Hi Sai Jin,
VPN from IP Burger.
Could you tell me your opinion what is going on with this problem?
Thank you. |
| Yupino | 01-31-2022 07:06 PM | Re: Otp Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thank you |
| SaiJin | 01-31-2022 07:45 PM | Re: Otp To me this problem doesn't make sense.
So you cannot login whatsoever because the amazon says the authenticator code is invalid correct?
Is the account under your own name |
| Beautiful | 02-01-2022 09:13 AM | Re: Otp Its a time sync issue 95% of the time - you would have to do what I suggested carefully most likely your time is not synced to the same minute |

The business address was in NJ when I bought this account from you (Beautiful).
Should that be part of consideration of this problem?
Thank you |

Thank you | If its not time sync issue then only way to reset the two steps by sending ID to amazon if you dont have that then say goodbye to account |
Re: Otp Belated welcome to the forum OP - all the best as you master stealth :thumb: |
| Beautiful | 02-03-2022 08:51 AM | Re: Otp Try setting your phone to automatic time vs setting the exact time that matches your browser
Keep messing with the combinations, if its your original OTP and you never changed it, its always a time sync issue - seen it many times |
| Yupino | 02-06-2022 02:56 PM | Re: Otp Is the QR code changed if I change entity address? |
| Beautiful | 02-07-2022 09:41 AM | Re: Otp The QR code just represents a number which can be decompressed if you need to manually enter the code into a different authenticator | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:10 PM. | |
