Related Accounts - 2021
 

Seems like this hasn't been talked about for a while....but related accounts have become a Pain in the derriere!! This time, I really, really have no idea bout how the relation occurred. I'm in Florida - the related account is in Washington State. I never share CC (or the other million pieces of info that could relate the accounts). Anyone have luck appealing a "false negative?"

How did you know the linked one was in WA?

If there's no connection to both of the accounts, it should be easily reinstated with an appeal explaining its an error

They don't suspend linked account without proper linkage, they have very strong link and account is gone

There is usually always a reason - are you dealing with a VPN for net access? Using someone else's SSN? Examples

I used this link: https://www.sellerratings.com/amazon/usa/ (with the name of the store) and got the same store name & owner as Seller Health told me when I spoke with them on the phone - which is how I knew what state the "related" account was in.

I've never given out my SSN - but do use a VPS (not a VPN) could that also trigger it? Thanks for this forum - learning tons!

They don't share the store name nor the person name or email, seems like the email you received not from amazon

They not mentioned amazon told them, I not seen in past amazon give full business name or email, they give like eb.......@gmail.com

Plus you can see in above link they never had reply from amazon

Yes that VPS could have been the linking factor if the other person used the same service provider.
Could have been the device or the IP.
Why would you use a VPS in the first place? most of those services are not recommended for stealth.

I actually thought the VPS idea was the BEST way for stealth....but now that it could be the potential for a related account, what is a better way?

And Amazon gave me the store name, the person's name on the account and the date the account was created.

It was NOT from an email. it was when i called seller support.

VPS is the highest risk of problems

VPN is safer

Hotspot + Dedicated tablet or laptop is best

No it's not, VPN from very specific provider like IPburger is safe but even that for amazon I still use residential ip .
