Amazon buyer account suspended - legit gift card use
 

Hello there,

I'd like to tell you what happened to me lately. :help:

I've created a new buyer stealth account because my personal one got banned after over 10 years of legit use, unfortunately I didn't study before starting my dropshipping business using Amazon Prime. But that's another story...

The problem now is: I've got this new account, (aged for about 1 and half month, with 2-3 legit order paid with debit card) suspended (for verification) because probably I made an high risk order (300€) paid with gift card.

The gift cards are legit, and now they're asking me for billing infos (they're completely random) and proof of purchase of the gift cards I've redeemed.

Is there anyway to get out of this without loosing the account and the balance on it?

Do you think that if I correctly submit the information they're asking for, they'll unlock my account?

Obviously you can say: "why don't you just try?"
Because I've already lost a lot of money with my personal account, and I want to be sure and rely on someone's who's got some experience in this before doing anything.

Thanks for your replies, anyway I am waiting for the GCs recepit so I can send everything to them, but it seems absurd in my opinion that they don't like they're own GC.

Sounds like you have repeated use of gift cards? Yes - this kind of activity is flagged on AZ side :( kind of unbelievable

To be honest it was my first order with GCs on that account.

Maybe it was too early to use GCs (account 1 and half month old).

But for me it is unacceptable that amazon annoys his customers for using a legit payment method.

Anyway as soon as I'll have the recepits I will submit them and we'll see what happen

Agree with the annoyance especially with just the first order :( sadly, a security flag was tripped nonetheless - was the first transaction on the account done with the GC?

Yes, it was the first transaction with GC.

I made 2-3 order first paid with debit card, no problems.

Update:

I've sent all the gift card recepit, but apparently it is not enough, they're now asking me for credit card statement...

I should make it myself, because the name of the account is different from the name on card, hope they can't verify it.

AMZN does not like gift cards because it has lost money ,buyers bought gift cards at discount from scammers who steal cc data to buy gift cards for resale,by the time the owner of these cc found out and they file chargebacks /
Those gift cards sold at deep discount,it is just too good to be true.

I completely understand your opinion, but here the point is: my GCs are legit and I've got recepit, I've sent them the recepits (bought with cash, no chargeback possible) and they're still asking for documentation.

I WON, MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN REINSTATED!

Please listen to the people in here... legit or not GCs are a common cause of your account getting suspended.

Legit GC are works fine even you don’t need car don that account, as long as you can prove it they will restore your account

I'm guessing they sent the receipt. That's all they want, there's no issues as long as everything is legit.

OP is also using AMZN to dropship,so there is another potential of being suspended
