Amazon.com account linked to Amazon.UK and suspended - need help please!
 

I received the following few days ago.

Hello,

Your Amazon.com Seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon's Business Solutions Agreement. Your listings have been disabled. Funds will not be transferred to you but will be held in your account while we work with you to address this issue...

Why is this happening?

You have a separate account ------ which was enforced for violating one of our policies. As a result, you may no longer use the ------ to sell on Amazon.com.

They linked my US marketplace (only marketplace I was selling on since 2021) to the UK marketplace within the same account, e.g uses the login details. The UK marketplace was never used, never sold anything, no bank account added. Apparently it was created and suspended the very next day as the usual process when you create an account , they suspend it until its verified (I called Account Health specialist, they gave me this info, created on Sep 9th 2021, suspended Sep 10th 2021,) and so was never verified. I think only ID added.

Now I have to verify this UK marketplace in order to get my US Pro account back.

So I proceeded with the verification the UK marketplace by checking the checkbox I want to proceed with the verification. I didn't submit any ID or anything. This what I received.

We have received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time.

Why did this happen?
We were unable to complete the review because you did not provide the documents required for the appeal.

How do I reactivate my account?
To reactivate your account, please confirm that there is a valid credit card on file and submit one of the following documents:
-- A business license if applicable
-- A utility bill dated for piped gas, natural gas, electricity, piped water, mobile phone, fixed-line phone, or internet service



Problem is, I don't have utility bill or ID for this account as I purchased it back in 2021 from a user on this forum. I am not sure why he created a UK (EU) marketplace also as I never wanted that.

My thoughts:

I can either change all the ID information and get one of my friends details to verify the UK account. Would this trigger a re-verification of the US Pro account also?

OR

I can just close the UK (EU) marketplace, go for Account Closure and then appeal US Pro marketplace stating that I have closed that UK marketplace as I never wanted to sell there, just opened it but never used it.

Not sure what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

hey mate, it was purchased from a seller on the forum back in 2021. It was fully verified including the Inform Act later. I don't exactly what verification steps were carried out but it was fully working and selling until suspension last week.

Thats right , so all these marketplaces are within the same account like when you link your US, Australia and the EU using the same login credentials.

if you do not have a way to get the account verified you could change to your details

it is risky but I do not see another way

a little more adventurous way would be to use a limited company with the person on file and you yourself on file and go through verification , I don't know though how amazon would react to this

hey linked my US marketplace (only marketplace I was selling on since 2021) to the UK marketplace within the same account, e.g uses the login details. it sounds like you created both UK and US accounts in the same year,probably same month and date?
Both are stealth accounts bought from seller on this forum.
When AMZN ask for more information for the UK account,you never respond.
Now AMZN linked the 2 accounts and suspended your US account?
So what is the reason for the US suspension?
Linked to a UK account ?? which is not verified.
There could be more,since both are stealth,do you have an older account in your real name which has been suspended by AMZN prior to Sept 2021 ?

Thanks mate, but already have my own Amazon account, so don't want to get linked to that one either. Does limited company make any difference? I mean, technically its a separate entity right, but you do have to mention the beneficial owner,

Thats right, both were created in the same year and month under the same login, and yes the USA was linked to the UK marketplace, that is the reason for suspension, nothing else, I know this as I called them and they gave me this information and even the dates which the marketplaces were created. They have not linked it to any other accounts outside.

To answer the following.

Well my question was if I change the details by using a friends information to verify the UK, would it pass.

if you open an account with ABC set of information,when they asked you to verify ABC,you change it to XYZ ,how is that called Verification of ABC?

I mean you made 1 account and used their different country regions....

I don't see how you can tell them these accounts aren't related.

I'd just try to salvage the account and get it reinstated.

Then also make some new amazon ghost accounts.

They will not allow you to change any information unless account is active again, you can’t simply add or remove anything while account is suspended

You need to activate account whatever market place they asking then you can appeal USA once uk reinstated

In my option account is gone aswell as any funds in the account

This is the problem when people buy accounts belongs to someone else it’s a big risk
