| | | werxc | 03-25-2025 11:05 PM | Amazon Linked Accounts Question I had a previous seller account that I ran for a few years that never got suspended or deactivated and was closed in good standing. I opened a new seller account with different info (Different person) but same address while that account was still open which had no sales on it just pretty much dormant with some fba inventory at the time but never had any problems with linked accounts. I have sold different asins on both accounts but same category, both accounts being primarily fbm as well. Recently after I closed the old account I went ahead and switched my seller address, new llc, and made a transfer agreement from the previous LLC account to my current LLC. If I were to start listing inventory I sold on my previous closed account would I get suspended and linked? |

| Papyrusman | 03-26-2025 08:33 AM | Re: Amazon Linked Accounts Question you "sold" it? If you were in good standing you should be good on creating the second account. You can contact seller support if the issue comes up, and after some badgering they are pretty okay with it, as you are allowed to have multiple accounts.
The inventory for the other account could be the issue. If amazon requests invoices, you don't have them. You may have invoices to the last LLC which isn't the new one, which could lead to trouble.
The fact that at one point you listed some items on the closed account shouldn't be an issue as long a they are not both listed simultaneously. |
Re: Amazon Linked Accounts Question Difficult to say 100% if you will be suspended - the link seems kind of present though |
| werxc | 03-26-2025 09:04 AM | Re: Amazon Linked Accounts Question Thanks for the response, I have all the invoices and they are from authorized distributors. I have a created a transfer agreement from the previous LLC to my current LLC that is also notarized, do you think if amazon decides to suspend me for overlapping inventory the transfer agreement will work as a successful appeal? |

Good luck either way! |

Try to change a pattern of sales. |

Why would you want to close that original account though>?? |
Re: Amazon Linked Accounts Question Make sure you use a different clean browser, and a different IP address.
Addresses are only a minimal part of the linking process, and won't cause suspension on address alone. Too many people move around for it to be a valid reason to suspend.

| gladys | 05-28-2025 10:32 AM | Re: Amazon Linked Accounts Question you should be fine if all was closed up tidily and properly transferred.amazon care less about recycled ASINSand more about suspicious activity.just dont have dual logins.IPs or coflicting data that would trigger a linkage review. |

If all banking, emails, and devices are separate, the risk is lower, but Amazon can still flag listings, so stay cautious. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:57 PM. | |
