Amazon Account Reinstated but can't get the buy box
 

My Amazon account was reinstated about two weeks ago on March 13th. I had a section 3 deactivation due to 3 inauthenticity complaints. All three complaints have been removed and my AHR is 208 and ODR is at 0 yet I am still not getting the buy box.

Has anyone experienced this before, if so, how long until I can get the buy box back. My account is over 10 years old. They also will not let me sell one of the brands I got a complaint for and I have been gated unless I send invoices of 100+ units now.

it has been an amazon policy to gate brands / copyright holders whose items got authenticity complaints so just forget about the gated ones and continue selling

well if complaints were justified AMZ has all the rights to gate the items yep; but if you have all the genuine invoices and get reinstated using them -> usually u can continue on selling these items.

Very nice that you got reinstated - sadly, with AZ, this doesn't necessarily mean you are 100% safe from further restrictions....tread carefully

it is two different processes , one is application to reinstate the account and the other one is automated gating of certain brands / labels

the products are gated regardless of whether the original account was reinstated and it is done for all sellers , possibly with the exception of older established sellers

I actually know a case where a guy was having several amazon accounts selling at the same time. one got taken down and a few weeks later the other accounts could not relist the brands gated because of the suspended account so that as soon as the inventory fell to 0 it was game over and application to ungate was needed

but it went further , a few weeks later , their other accounts were taken down as well , possibly because they were selling similar or same inventory

fully agree; I know the difference :) I just told OP that usually u can continue selling items in question after getting reinstated if it's not connected with regular gating of products.

Looks like that gated brand is going to be closed for me until I can get invoices. But my real question was how long will I not have the buy box for? I have over 1000 SKUs and not a single buy box even though I have the best price.

So your account health may have taken a hit. And the amazon algo seems to prefer accounts that have better metrics.

Does amazon indicate you aren't eligible for any buy boxes?

Some patience for buybox. As for gated product and invoice for it didn’t get it at all; you mean there’s an option to submit an invoice for approval ?

So I opened a case with Amazon support on Thursday Mar 27th and today March 31st my box percentage went from 0% to 1%

I asked them to do a manual review of my listings because my prices were lower than my competitor so I believe they may have done something internal to allow my account to be eligible for the buy box.

SOunds like they soft limit you on the buy box.

And about that brand you hopped on to, they banned you from it

Yes looks like I am banned from that specific brand but I am grateful for getting my account back.

amazon accounts are so hard to make, I'm glad you at least got yours back!

Depends on whether you are eligible to submit an application for approval or not; like even for 100+ units of inventory. clarify that pls.
