Seller Verifcation prompted VPN Question

I set up an account for someone else using a laptop with a dedicated VPN IP through PIA. We successfully created the user account, added the LLC, and listed two products. Then we were prompted for a seller verification call.

The call went fine overall, but the interviewer specifically asked why we were using a VPN on the PC. The seller explained it was for security purposes. They also said they did not like about a secondary user account being added and questioned on why we needed a user account. The secondary user account me setup the main Super admin because the buyer has no idea on how setup the account.

Is this a new red flag for Amazon now? We’ve been setting up accounts for years using this same setup, which makes me wonder if we should switch to only using a VPS, or avoid VPNs altogether.

For those with more experience: what are the pros and cons of using a VPN vs a VPS vs a dedicated proxy for setting up Amazon, eBay, or Walmart accounts? This is the third account I’ve had banned in the last two months, and it’s been nothing but aggravating.Additionally we did add a virtual card on there which we believe that tripped the seller verification.

Why did you use a Veepn to set up the account? It's pretty straightforward to get a fresh eye pee address.

So sorry I am knowledgeable like everyone else in this forum but this is a legit question. If have any information for my questions above it would be appreciated.

It is what the ghost book said I could do. Has anyone else been prompted during seller video calls about using VPN? I think by now everyone uses them and its been controversial especially with the government trying to ban these services.

OP, are you in the US like your flag suggests? If so, you can look for more legitimate real sources of IP

I cant speak for Walmart, but you are best creating the account at least with a frsh IP rather than a V-P-N. Although you may get away with administering the account with a V-P-N.

I'm not sure how effective such authoritarian behaviour would be, they tried in Russia but some V-P-N still work, they go after the service providers rather than the individuals

Hi thanks for the reply. Correct I am located in the USA. What about dedicated IP Burger addresses for the Super admin account? Is this more a robust solution instead of buying new a pc for each account?

I haven't read the gohst guide for many years, much of the info will still hold true, yet some will be out of date. There's a lot of info that's been shared over the years in countless threads about IP addresses.
