Amazon Drop Shipping Violation - Second Violation -Appeal Succesful
 
My amazon account was suspended for a second time in June of 2025. I hired three separate companies to submit appeals. Every response was denied and that we must wait the 6 month holding period to re submit. It was a brutal 6 months of waiting, FBA and dread. After the 6 months were up, I re submitted an appeal and it was approved.

I know that other accounts have been permanently banned from receiving a second violation. did we just get lucky or has Amazon changed their stance?

For those that are/have been battling a second DS violation, how has your experience been?

What was the reason cited for the second suspension?

Sounds like you did everything right by staying patient and resubmitting after the 6-month window — a lot of people panic-submit and bury themselves deeper.

I don’t think Amazon has a single “one-size” stance on second DS violations; outcomes often depend on the violation type, how clean the corrective actions are, and whether the account looks stable after the hold. When you got approved, did Amazon give any hint on what specifically changed (new docs, new process, different wording), or was it just “appeal accepted” with no detail?

As for the appeal that got my account reinstated, nothing had changed from previous appeals other than waiting the 6 month period. I had only sold through FBA for 6 months with no negative feedback or health issues. I think that greatly improved my chances for reinstatement.

I would call customer service and some reps said I would never get it back or I would have to wait over 2 years to gain seller fulfilled.

Sadly even 1 time "oops" like this is enough for AZ to axe the account - even though it took 6 months, that was good you got it reinstated
