Amazon vs eBay
 

Hi,

I have registered myself/brand on Amazon Canada/USA : North America.
I have also got Brand registered with them in garments/apparels.
And also got the category approved.

Now i will read and learn how to operate Amazon to advance level as a seller. I know i have got alot to do.

My question today is - That on eBay i advertise/List my item to be made on receipt of an order as they are garments like coats and jackets and customer allow us to deliver their order in 10-14 days. So when they choose the material and sizing we get garment ready and ship them to be with them in 10-14 days.

Can that be done on Amazon? or do i have to stock all the sizes and variations in my US warehouse beforehand - ready to ship same/next day on receipt of an order?

For Amazon you'll want to have all stock / sizes / variations so you can ship fast.

If you can make them relatively quickly, then test it out and see how it goes.

Most people on Amazon expect their orders fast, due to them being used to Prime shipping which is pretty fast.

You can say allow extra time for shipping etc, but you'll probably run into people complaining about long shipping times
