Amazon Verification Documents Question
 

I know that Amazon has been requesting you to upload things like a business license, utility bill, etc. lately.

Do they only do this for people who sell items themselves? Meaning, if I solely use FBA and never sell an item without FBA, will I ever get prompted for those things? If so, how are people circumventing it with a stealth account? I figure you can apply for and get a business license in any state, and I guess you could Photoshop a utility bill, but what about if they ask for a passport or ID? This is assuming you're running under an LLC and not your personal self.

Could you just make them feel stupid for asking a registered LLC for a passport? I just want to cover all bases before starting anything.

FBA does not matter, they are likely to ask you for documentation regardless of what type of account you have.
