Changing MACs on hotspot orwifi modem
 

Hi,I just read Amazon Stealth and plan setting up multiple Amazon accounts. I want to change my MAC between accounts not just on my computer but also the internet access point (I use public library wifi.) (Apparently Amazon looks at both the computer's MAC and the MAC of the first internet access device.) I know I can't change the library's MAC.

Option A: an I connect a "USB wireless modem" to my computer so I can change the MAC on that every time I need to?

Option B to get my own cellphone hotspot might not work since supposedly the MAC on the phone can't be changed.

Option C would be to get wired internet access with my own wired modem where I can change the MAC but where I live wired internet isnot availablewhich is why I drive to the library's wifi.
I don't know much about computers, pardon me if this is basic stuff. Thanks!

You need to rework your plan

Don't use a public WiFi. You have no control over who else is using it

Option B is best. The device MAC address doesn't matter, just the IP address

No need to worry about MAC

Either format your current laptop if it had an Amazon store already or get a new laptop + new ISP. Or if you're tech savvy, get a virtual machine setup + new ISP / new VPN

The MAC address doesn't matter anymore. Unfortunately they refuse to update the guide, so everyone studies it, sets everything up, then comes to the forums and learns that the info is incorrect.

An entire chapter of the guide that costs $50 says otherwise lol
