Amazon Individual account to Pro Account
 

upgraded my account this morning from Individual to a pro

Amazon has made the account inactive now...alot of people say that they need to verfy information and should send a email but didnt get anything.

Anyone else run into this?

Also from reading on other forums it says I would need a copy of my ID showing my business name.....who has a ID with there business name on it?

When you upgrade from individual to pro, assuming you started as individual, you will be requested verification, typically your ID and your bank statement.

I sent a driver license and bank statement

I think that will be okay as they said to send a drivers license of a person who is the owner if its a business

just blacked out the address

Please let us know if the blacked out address worked. Some people say it does not.

They keep kicking it back saying the Name on the drivers license doesnt match my Bank Statement name

it wont bc my birth name isnt the same as my companies name

Spoke with Amazon support for 90 minutes they finally said the ID has nothing to do with matching names its just to make sure you are a real person. So I resubmitted my docs again and got kicked back again

At this point IDK what to do. My Drivers license is clearly different them my business name and Amazon just fails to realize this

any help for the people out there who got this figured out

If your business is registered, then show them your business licence along with regular ID and a bank statement. Perhaps some mail that shows your name and the address that is registered to the business. Help them connect the dots.

So, you sent in your REAL driver's license? Like, with your real name, not your stealth name? That might be your problem....
