USPS Issue
 

So I sell small items on Amazon. Since Amazon requires tracking I have printed label and attached to an envelope. The USPS is returning my items saying an envelope is not a shipping package and I must send priority to get tracking. What? So instead of a 2 cent envelope I have to use a 15 cent bubble mailer. That sucks.

I've got in trouble for that before too. They technically aren't supposed to accept a First Class Parcel unless it's over 1/4" thick" for whatever reason. They're telling you to use Priority instead because there's a Priority Flats class that comes with tracking.

I used to send out vinyl decals in regular letter envelopes with First Class labels on them. Our mail carrier would pick them up no problem. Really, she's picked up everything we've ever tried to ship without issue. But when I tried dropping some off at the PO one of the a-hole's at the counter had a problem with my tracked flat envelopes.

If it'll fit in an envelope, you're paying too much for bubble mailers. A very short search on ebay will net you the #000 size for 5-6 cents each.

cant you just bulk up that envelope,?like add a piece of cardboard ?
