So no need to change MAC address?
 

Im reading Amazon Ghost, and there is A LOT so far about changing your MAC address, but I read in various places in this forum that that its no longer necessary to change your MAC Address. Disclaimer, Im super not tech savvy, but...

Can someone explain to me WHY changing your MAC address is no longer needed?

I read through lots of the posts hoping for something saying that the book had been updated, but alas could not find anything. :(

Is there a post somewhere that collects all the changes and updates that SHOULD go into the book? If not, can we make one and then pin it to the top of a channel? Or perhaps crowdsource this with a channel specifically dedicated to collecting changes to the book's method/info from users here? Currently these bits of information are sort of spread out all over this forum.

I unfortunately have my first legitimate account (merch t shirts) Ive built up with way too much revenue, and I would like to set up some backup accounts to build up revenue in, but am TERRIFIED that I will make a mistake and cause my first account to be terminated.

No need to worry about Mac, look into virtualbox or vmware for creating virtual machines

Amazon Ghost clearly states that we have to change the MAC address of both computer and router, because amazon can track it.
Then in many threads I read that we don't have to worry about the MAC address at all, as amazon can't see it.
Can someone verify this info and tell us which one is true?

Some parts are outdated, but the majority of the guide is still relevant

To be extra careful. But if you just get a residential IP from IPburger and a dedicated computer for the account, you'll be good to go.
