Can Amazon detect your location on a 4G network even with location disabled?
 

So I've been workng with Amazon for a fair bit of time and after having some pretty mixed results with Proxies I decided to have a try using 4G network ( Not proxies). I've pretty much disabled the location on the phone itself, but I was beginning to wonder if Amazon can still detect your location somehow, because in order for the 4G to connect it'll need to go through a mast and I was thinking if its possible for Amazon to detect a rough location through that mast alone.

The IP itself is what they can see ISP/estimated location information

Doesn't matter if you disable location on phone/computer

As stated the general location can be detected but from all indications using wireless data is the safest way to go these days.

It's not possible for a web page you visit to tell which cell phone mast you're connected to.

Thank you everyone that's really great to know! Sometimes when things aren't working out you try to narrow every possibility out there. Even something as farfetched as finding location through the mast.

Has anyone had experience using public wifi/4G? I feel like even though private 4G was sort of working out, the effectiveness of it has been somewhat less lately and I beginning to wonder if thats because the usage of the same network is creating similar patterns that Amazon dislike.

Never EVER EVER use a public wifi.

If you want to go and do that, mask it by using an IPburger VPN this way they don't see that you're using that public wifi.
