Can you create a new account on windows for amazon stealth or does it need to be completely different device?

Yes, you can. Don't need a freaking new device :)

If you plan on making many stealth accounts on amazon, you would be better off using VMware so you can easily make a "new computer" practically all by clicking a few buttons and can change the specs around etc to look different from each account

also VMware makes multi-tasking between accounts easy

Virtual machines or purchase a cheap brand new laptop is the way to go

The safest way is to sign up is on a new machine, be it a new computer or a new VM.

Why not just create a new windows user account? I don't get the meaning of safer.

It's either it creates a link or it doesn't. So unless Amazon stealth is different than eBay stealth, you should able to just create new user. No need for a new machine. Or am I wrong here?

The meaning of safer is to take precautions to avoid the possibility of accounts getting linked.

Amazon Ghost and Ebay stealth are different - hence they are titled different, and completely different books alltogether.

Anyhow, Amazon Ghost at this point only covers the basic premise of making stealth accounts. You'll need to do a tonne of reading to bridge the gap as there have been a lot of changes since the release of the book.
