Matching zip code
 

Can two stealth accounts be linked via zip code if they offer similar items, but under a different private label brand?

Example:

Store A
Zip: 12345
Product: X Table

Store B
Zip: 12345
Product: Y Table

Very VERY doubtful. That would not be strong enough to link accounts, especially if you mix things up like descriptions, pics, and other details.

No, otherwise everyone who lives in the same zipcode and has an ebay selling account would all be linked and kicked off ebay.....

If you are talking about eBay, its not very likely at all.

If you are talking about amazon, yes its possible. But as long as you are selling 2 different products on 2 different product pages, and not selling the same items on both accounts, you should be alright. Why not create a stealth account with a different zip code 10~ miles away?

Thanks for responding. Its an issue of convenience. I happen to live in a high traffic area with poor quality adjacent mailbox services. If I end up receiving a lot of packages during a particular week (ex. Amazon returns), i'll need to drive 40+ minutes to pick them up, and many of the services in my area will only let me keep a few packages at a time without charging me..

The one mailbox rental company in my zip code happens to be better, and its very close for pickup.

I heard someone in the forum mention free mail forwarding services. If you happen to know anything about it, that can be helpful to learn about.
