Getting reviews on Amazon
 

So I just launched my first private label product on Amazon with FBA. Honestly a huge accomplishment for myself as it's been my goal for the past year or so.

How do you guys advertise your products? More importantly, get reviews?

I know those free reviews websites all got shut down, but there has to be alternatives out there? Any ideas?

Any suggestions for private label products would be great! Thanks!

how about review that will be taken down or be erased by amazon? i also do private label. who has launched a product to the first page and who or what did you use ? viral launch etc? jumsend.. facebook ?

amazon deleted all reviews on a few of my prodcuts, be careful

Don't take offers from unauthorized sellers especially through PM.

You don't want to get scammed.


About those reviews on Amazon, they have been super crazy about them.
All reviews are usually deleted within hours nowadays, even the legit ones.

i bought 20 virtual machines on hostwinds. Setup an Amazon customer account for each server. Then buy products using vanilla gift card. You need to spend $50 on each account before they let you review.

I'm curious about this too. AZ has been a nightmare with reviews. Even legit reviews were booted

That's true! Even if there are 100% real, the delete them. I really don't know what Amazon thinks of that.

AMZ is a beast at cracking down on reviews I prefer to get reviews organically but starting can be difficult, for your 20 VM accounts do you have products ship also to 20 different address's to meet that $50 requirement, and do you go back in those accounts every now n then to keep them "normal" by shopping/purchasing something?

yes exactly. Reviews are still up but I do not do more than 5 on a product. Amazon will flag your account if there are too many reviews from new customers.
