Required 2 Step Verification Solution for Amazon?
 

Is the best solution to use Google Voice for 2 step verification? Amazon requires all accounts to have it by Oct 31st. I am thinking use a different Google Voice Number for all the accounts? Has anyone tried Google Voice for 2 step? Is that a good solution? Thank you in advance.

well, in UK you just need any number but a cell phone is probably best, and a back up cell phone too, as they want 2 methods to contact you. It can be a call or sms.

You can use a couple of cheap/free sims to get the code sms. Then login and tick the box that you do not need this verification on this device, then keep cookies intact and you will not need to do get the code again for a while or at all, BUT if the sim expired etc and you needed to get a code in the future you could be screwed, so bear this in mind, may be best to have at least one solid number on file.
