Just picked up a account from elmo.. I had a question, i have a new PC that i barely ever used, the wife used it some, she did use amazon prime on it etc.. However the hard drive crashed. i just replaced the pc with a SSD... Can i use my new amazon account on this pc? Or just simpler to install vmware and use it that way?

I can safely state that if the Hard drive is new then you should be fine as a "new computer".

Did you fix the BIOS to boot off the new hard drive?

I decided to just run vmware on it. Seems easier, can keep it all streamlined and not worry about any issues... I'm kicking myself here.. i was pulling 30 grand a month on amazon and i got greedy with a trick i was using to manipulate listings and they found out because i complained it wasn't working on a specific asin and other peoples were lol..My dumb ass. Anyway, just frustrated and ranting. Hopefully by monday i can list some stuff and get back on track. Or god willing they reinstate me, since i admitted the manipulation and promised to not do it again (yeah right, i made it 4 months and was only caught because i'm an idiot.) (nothing illegal, or vero. Just manipulation to gain rank)

New hard drive effectively means new computer from a stealth standpoint.

Yes a new harddrive would be a new computer so no need to do VMware

Vmware would be beneficial on a previously used laptop that had amazon access, or if you're doing multiple accounts

VMware makes managing multiple accounts super convenient, and good luck on the new accounts!
