Amazon legit buyer account closed
Hi there..
So I import electronics to Argentina and sell it here locally (Amazon/eBay doesn't exists here, I sell trought my own website/facebook/and other means).
I buy a lot of these electronics in Amazon USA. I have my account since 2013 I think. I'm prime member since 2014. My account is legit, never had any problem with it. Amazon usually is a very good website and customer oriented service so it's been always great.
Part of my purchases I make them with my own credit cards. Other part of my purchases I've been buying legit gift cards (only physical cards paid with cash and receipt). Since this method is way more easy than making an international wire transfer to load balance to my account...
1 Week ago I received this email:
"Hello,
After a review of your details, we have determined it necessary to close your Amazon.com account. Any pending orders have been canceled.
We may not reply to further emails about this issue.
Sincerely,"
No explanation, no nothing. I've been contacting customer service without any clear answer.
I am a legit customer, I almost never open any claim, I don't open any returns. And I buy a lot. I'm the "perfect customer". Still my account got closed.
Oh, and I have 1600usd balance on my account which I can't use now.
After reading and googling I suspect it has been for using the legit gift cards?
If that is the case, gift cards aren't the ONLY way of payment I have been using, only a part of my purchases have been with gift cards (maybe less than 30%, the other part has been made with legit credit cards).
What is the logic of amazon for closing my account?
I haven't done anything wrong, I didn't commit fraud, I did't harm anyone. I'm just BUYING, that's all.
Will it be possible for me getting my account reinstated? If that is the case I won't use gift cards any more, that's not my business at all.
And USD 1600 is a lot of money for me to get it stolen by a multimillionaire net worth 114 billion...
Any advice on what should I do?
